Flue gas, pressure, and measuring instruments are indispensable tools for the maintenance, adjustment, and inspection of heating systems. Only regularly maintained and calibrated instruments provide precise measurement results and ensure safe and standards-compliant operation.
We therefore recommend having your measuring instrument maintained and calibrated at least once a year.
Why is annual maintenance important?
As part of professional maintenance, all important functions of your measuring instrument are checked and performed if necessary. These include, among others:
- Calibration of the measuring instrument with certified test gases
- Cleaning of the gas pump and gas paths
- Calibration of the pressure sensors
- Leak test of the measuring system
- Function check of all relevant components
Upon completion of the calibration, you will of course receive a calibration report as proof of the work performed.
Regular maintenance increases measurement accuracy, extends the service life of your measuring instrument, and helps to avoid unplanned downtime.
Sensors – wearing parts with a limited service life
Electrochemical sensors are subject to a natural aging process and should be replaced regularly.
CO sensor (carbon monoxide)
- recommended replacement after approx. 5 years
O₂ sensor (oxygen)
- Standard sensors: replacement after approx. 2 years
- Long-life sensors: replacement after approx. 4 years
